Office365 Send to links

Over the last week I’ve been creating a demo for a high profile client, demonstrating the EDRMS features offered by SharePoint Online.

Having been involved in a few Records Management solutions in the past I remembered the basics:, but I did find one or two gotchas that I thoughtr worthwhile sharing:

1. The Content Organizer site feature HAS to be enabled on source sites as well

2. If you happen to add a new send to link a few days/months later and find that all your send to links disappear from source sites, fear not – simply deactivate and reactive the Content Organizer site feature

3. If working with Information Policies the error message appearing in the policy library saying Cannot check retention policy on this site can be ignored – see http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/154/t/206884.aspx
